Privacy

Privacy policy.

This policy explains what personal information vausesystems.com collects, why, and how it is handled. Effective September 3, 2026.

We collect as little as possible, and only to respond to you.

This website is operated by Vause Systems Ltd., a Canadian corporation ("Vause Systems", "we", "us"). We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to vausesystems.com, including the contact form. It does not cover Redline, EasyEntry, or any other product or service you use under a separate agreement. Those are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

Information we collect

The only personal information this site collects directly is what you choose to send through the contact form: your name, your email address, and the content of your message. We ask you not to send confidential documents through the form.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs that include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and operational purposes only.

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

How we use it

Information submitted through the contact form is used to:

  • respond to your enquiry;
  • follow up about Redline, EasyEntry, or working with Vause Systems, where you have asked us to;
  • keep a record of our correspondence.

We keep contact form messages as a record of correspondence unless you ask us to delete them.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing you have not asked for.

Service providers

Contact form submissions are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form service, and stored in our email. This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. These providers may process data on servers outside Canada, where it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. To do so, send a message through the contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
